NOTICE: PRESCRIBED PILE BURNING IN JEFFCO PARKS & OPEN SPACE This winter, you may see small, intentional fires in Jeffco Parks & Open Space (JCPOS) areas.

The 2026 Proposed Budget Hearing will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 7:00 pm during the GGFPD Board Meeting. The meeting will take place in the Golden Gate Grange, 25201 Golden Gate Canyon Road. Copies of the proposal will be available at the Grange.

Golden Gate Fire Protection District is excited to announce the launch of our Wildland Fire Mitigation Division - and we are looking for volunteers to join us in the work of reducing wildfire risk and protecting our mountain community. Please click on the title for more information.

Join the Golden Gate Auxiliary for its Annual Pig Roast and Silent and Paddle Auctions to benefit the volunteer Firefighters in our district. This event is held on Saturday, September 20th from 5-8 pm at the Golden Gate Canyon Grange, 25201 Golden Gate Canyon Road.

This is a great chance to tour the station, meet some of your volunteer fire fighters and to welcome the new GGFPD board members! We hope to see you there! Thursday, June 26th - Drop in anytime between 5:00 - 6:30 pm. You are welcome to stay for the Board Meeting at 7:00pm.

We are pleased to announce that Golden Gate Fire Protection District is hosting a slash day on Saturday, June 28, 2025. Slash day will run from 9am - 3 pm and will be located at the Golden Gate Grange, 25201 Golden Gate Canyon Road.
