We are pleased to announce that Golden Gate Fire Protection District is hosting a slash day on Saturday, June 28, 2025. Slash day will run from 9am - 3 pm and will be located at the Golden Gate Grange, 25201 Golden Gate Canyon Road. We are offering a reduced Jefferson County rate of $20 per load. Number of loads is unlimited. A load that is approximately 4' high X 8' long X 5' wide is considered one load. Limbs must be 8' in length or shorter and cannot be more than 6" in diameter. Please review the Jefferson County slash page for detailed information on what is acceptable. The Golden Gate Fire Department Volunteers will be available to help as needed.
