Jefferson County Slash Collection dates and locations are available for 2025. You can sign up for alerts and get the latest dates and locations.

We are pleased to announce that Golden Gate Fire Protection District is hosting a slash day on Saturday, June 28, 2025. Slash day will run from 9am - 3 pm and will be located at the Golden Gate Grange, 25201 Golden Gate Canyon Road. We are offering a reduced Jefferson County rate of $20 per load. Number of loads is unlimited. A load that is approximately 4' high X 8' long X 5' wide is considered one load. Limbs must be 8' in length or shorter and cannot be more than 6" in diameter. Please review the Jefferson County slash page above for detailed information on what is acceptable. The Golden Gate Fire Department Volunteers will be available to help as needed. Cash or check only please, add on donations are greatly appreciated!

Gilpin County allows non-residents to use their slash facilities for a nominal fee. Please get information here.
